Swiftly following the launch of the Nintendo Switch, the firm has another Direct presentation to appease all you gamers out there. Nintendo says they are focusing on Arms and Splatoon 2, but global directs ALWAYS have a new game announcement.

Information on Splatoon 2 has been slowly trickling out, and a public "Testfire" demo period took place late last month.

"Perhaps we'll finally be getting a release date other than" summer" and "spring" for both games.

With the release of Arms, a new yellow joy-con and built-in battery will be released. Arms can be mixed and matched however the player wants, and each character even seems to control differently.

According to Eurogamer, Nintendo is willing to pay out as much as $20,000 to hackers in return for information regarding Switch hardware security vulnerabilities.

That polish presumably includes the new modes the game will have, too, one of which was revealed today- Salmon Run, which is a co-op horde mode for the game. Well, it looks like Nintendo was not paying attention then because their Nintendo Switch might be going down the same path now.

It's great news for those hoping to use Splatoon 2 like shown in the adverts, meaning fans will only have to deal with the battery life of the Nintendo Switch. Read: The most anticipated games of 2017.

Arms was unveiled at the Switch reveal event in January but we haven't seen a great deal of footage since then. However, the Direct will also feature news on other, now undisclosed, titles for Switch and 3DS.
