Drake has just announced that he will expand is busy schedule, as he's been tapped host the first-ever NBA Awards.

The NBA Awards On TNT will air live June 26 from Basketball City at Pier 36 in New York City.

Drake, 30, previously leaked he would serve as the host and producer of the awards show in a January appearance on Kentucky coach John Calipari's podcast.

Drake tweeted, "Hosting first-ever NBA Awards on TNT, June 26th - tune in". The NBA never held an awards show, but the player's union attempted to produce their own in 2015 and it never gained traction.

When the highly anticipated awards show kicks off at 9 pM EST, we will get to see the league's top players, A-list celebrities and so much more!

Throwing in well-placed quips and flawlessly executed skits throughout his time curating the sports awards show, it was clear Drizzy was a natural, so it's great he'll have the chance to flex his comedic chops for fans once more this summer.

Additional honors, which will be decided by fan voting, will be revealed Thursday night on TNT's Inside the National Basketball Association. He did the duties for the 2014 ESPYs and absolutely stole the show. He also stands as the team ambassador for the Toronto Raptors, and can occasionally be spotted courtside at their home games.
