Fans were graced with Serena Williams' presence at the 2017 Met Gala, and her on-point, asymmetrical gala ensemble was easily one of the most gorgeous looks of the night.

"We're waiting. [It's] a surprise", Serena gushed to Vogue's André Leon Talley at the star-studded affair when he asked her and Alexis if they know what they're having.

The 35-year-old previously posted a letter to her unborn baby, telling he or she that she hopes to see them in the players' box when she returns to the court.

Serena Williams has always been lovely.

Last night, at the 2017 MET Gala held at the Museum of Art in NY, the tennis champ and her fiance Alexis Ohanian stepped out for the first time since the news of her pregnancy broke, and she rightfully stole the show. William said in a video she posted to Snapchat.

During the same interview with King, Williams made very clear that she wasn't one to settle, and that marrying Ohanian meant something very special to her.

Taking to Instagram, the Tennis star shared a heartfelt message addressing her unborn baby while showing off her baby bump. "But most importantly, I am so happy to share being number one in the world with you". "So, I just keep saying, 'February, I'll start looking at the bigger picture of my life.'" And obviously, she had every right to stay focused on tennis at the time, as she ended up dominating and later winning the tournament. Destination: "Rome", Williams wrote.

"I knew that at that moment, it was important for me to just focus", she said. "I feel like once you experience it, you always want to get that feeling again".

Williams and Ohanian still have a few months before the baby arrives.
