Mostly clear skies, light winds and a very dry airmass enabled temperatures to drop to around freezing at daybreak, with Madison at 35 at 5:53 a.m.

SATURDAY: A chance of showers.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 72. North wind 5 to 8 miles per hour. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.

Friday has seasonable temperatures close to 70 degrees, extra cloud cover, and there is a chance for rain overnight. Friday night is expected to be mostly clear, with a low around 48. Skies will continue staying mostly cloudy and winds are going to again be breezy to windy out of the southeast around 10 to 20 miles per hour.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 74.

Tonight Partly cloudy, with a low around 58. Winds could gust as high as 20 miles per hour. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent.
