According to The Times of India, SS Rajamouli who directed the films, "Baahubali: The Beginning" and 'Baahubali: The Conclusion', the latter, which went on the mint over Rs 1,000 crores in the box-office, was reportedly keen on casting Sridevi for the role. What a super outstanding film it would have been for her illustrious career.

Initially, the makers of Baahubali 2 approached Sridevi for the role but she rejected it and hence Ramya Krishna came on board. Baahubali 2 has become the first Indian film to cross 1000 crore at the box office. If she would have accepted the role, she would have got more name in both the parts. Ramya Krishnan, who emerged as one of the most talented and hot actresses of South in the 90s, has regained her depleted fame with an awe-inspiring performance in Baahubali.

But did you know that apart from these stalwarts, Ramya Krishnan aka Sivagami, has worked alongside Shah Rukh Khan too? Nonetheless, that did not happen, and Ram Gopal Varma also feels it was her one of the biggest mistakes to say no to such a project.

If sources are to be believed, Sridevi couldn't be locked in to portray the character of Sivagami since she demanded a whopping Rs 6 crore for the role.

It would be more that interesting to watch how Ramya brings Jayalalithaa's character to life, if and when this film is made in the future. The film, which is having a historic run at the box office, is declared as the biggest film of the Indian cinema so far.
