But they've been missing one feature that makes Snapchat such a joy to use: the filters that transform your face. These work with both the photo and video camera to apply real-time face-tracking filters over subjects. People watching a user's story will be able to tap the hashtag sticker to visit a hashtag page and explore related posts. More features are also being added, like video rewind and hashtags right on the Stories that you post. This new feature will only work once users update their Instagram app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.

Finally, the color pen set provided in the app is being augmented with a new "Eraser Brush" that'll cover the whole screen with the color you've picked and then you can erase parts of the photograph you want to reveal.
