Trump says comic should be ashamed for severed head video

On Wednesday morning, President Donald Trump posted on his Twitter account that his son was very upset at a photo that had circulated on Tuesday evening. Griffin latter posted another video in which she said she went too far.

She went on to say the image was too graphic and that she had taken it down and asked the photographer do the same. However, the photos drew immediate outrage on social media as many users, including Trump's former presidential rival Hillary Clinton's daughter Chelsea, took Twitter to criticize the "disturbing" images.

Within hours Griffin posted a video in which she apologized for "going way too far".

"I beg for your forgiveness".

It wasn't right when peoplel hung lynched Obama effigies, just as what Kathy Griffin did isn't right now.

"It is never amusing to joke about killing a president", she said.

CNN has just announced they have fired Griffin from their annual New Year's Eve coverage, a program the 56-year-old has co-hosted for the last 10 years. "It is clearly disgusting and completely inappropriate", he tweeted. "I made a mistake and I was wrong", she continued.

Griffin, a vocal Trump critic, received backlash on social media regarding the photo of herself holding up Trump's bloody head.

The Secret Service has now launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the photoshoot, and Griffin got dropped from her endorsement deal with Squatty Potty.

According to the American Mirror, CNN is yet to punish its employee, Griffin, though the organization has condemned her actions, calling them "disgusting and offensive".
