iOS has now joined Android in offering a built-in one-handed mode for the default keyboard: It means if you've only got one hand free to tap out a message, then the keys become a bit easier to hit, especially if you're using one of the larger iPhones models. Out with the old and in with the new and with support ending for these devices, Apple can use their resources elsewhere.

On the WWDC stage, Apple unveiled the most awaited iOS 11 with a focus to turn iPad into desktop computers. Moreover, it also gives users a simple view of files on their device and also those stored with cloud services including iCloud, Dropbox, OneDrive, and more.

"We think this is going to be a real important step with safety in the auto", Apple's Senior Vice President of Software Engineering Craig Federighi said of the new feature.

In a move that's sure to irk the local Australian banks denied earlier this year, Apple has signaled plans to open up access to the iPhone's NFC chip.

Apple is making changes to the way apps get information about users' location and photos, giving users more control over what data they share and when they share it.

One of the most useful new features it comes with is the ability to wirelessly share the credentials of a WiFi network from one iOS device to another iOS device.

If you've disabled auto-downloading of apps in Settings iTunes & App Store on any of your devices, you'll need to follow this tutorial on each device to be certain you aren't overlooking an app that's on your iPhone 7, say, but not your iPad Pro. Meanwhile, you will still have the option to delete all your past ratings and start off with a clean slate if that is what you would like to do.

Apple packed a bunch of cool new features into the new iOS 11 update coming later this year.

The iPhone 8 will feature a Touch ID sensor built into the display, at least if a new leaked case render is to be believed.
