"As far as I'm aware, there is nothing that offers the combination of power and performance at the price that we're doing right now [with Xbox One X]".

"I think that the console looks great but when you boil it all down, we got a lot of console launch exclusives but we didn't get any real, meaningful first-party titles".

Now, Spencer has taken to an interview with PC Gamer to elaborate on a couple points regarding OG Backward Compatibility and Xbox Game Pass, particularly as to the future of them, and where if Microsoft is turning its focus to UWP games on Windows 10.

The Xbox One X will arrive on November 7 with a $499 price tag, which is $100 more than the PlayStation 4 Pro. Last year, when Spencer teased the Xbox One X, then known as Project Scorpio, he said that the next Microsoft console would "deliver true 4K gaming and high-fidelity VR".

Spencer also elaborated by saying "I don't want to get into all the numbers, but in aggregate, you should think about the hardware part of the console business is not the money-making part of the business, the money-making part is in selling games".

As for the PS4 Pro, it comes with an AMD Polaris graphics with 4.2 teraflops of performance and 8GB of GDDR5 RAM. The console also supports 4K games, which is now at the top edge of video game technology.

Ybarra replied back to a fan asking if the current Software Development Kit for the Xbox One X is complete or are they still working on it. He revealed that streaming on Xbox One X is limited to 720p/1080p at 60 fps since 4K requires a lot of bandwidth.

Microsoft announced this week that it is adding backwards compatibility with original Xbox games to the existing Xbox 360 compatibility already available on Xbox One. With a 2.1 GHz 8-core AMD chip, the Sony console is slightly behind the 2.3 GHz 8-core AMD CPU that Microsoft's newest console uses.
