The former boxing champ who is coming out of retirement to face McGregor didn't seem all that bothered by his opponent's words, but he certainly didn't enjoy the same reaction no matter what he said in return.

Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor is a 12-round super welterweight matchup that pits the legendary boxer Mayweather against the all-time MMA great McGregor in an unprecedented event that takes place Saturday, August 26 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

He also hit out at "Money" and the lack of it amid tax fraud allegations with the IRS.

Coverage of the NY press conference will begin at 5:30 p.m. ET.

Yesterday, rap star Drake sparked headlines after introducing McGregor and Mayweather at their Toronto press conference.

"He's 40 years of age carrying a schoolbag on stage". Just know if you do something with that flag, you ain't getting this bag or this money back. Mayweather earned well more than $200 million for beating Pacquiao, giving him the biggest payday of his career.

He said: "I would agree with some of the online scores, I'd say 10-9 for Floyd in round one".

"To set the record straight, at no time did Showtime or event productions intentionally cut microphones during Tuesday's kickoff event in Los Angeles", Espinoza said in a statement emailed to the Los Angeles Times on Thursday. He said,"He looks good for a seven- or eight-figure fighter but I'm a nine-figure fighter", he boasted. They'll do that then pack up their bags and jump on private jets to the next stop because there's more rock n' roll to be played and that's what Mick and Keith do. Learn to dress. You're carrying a schoolbag on stage.

Mayweather was asked by TMZ about some of McGregor's comments during the press tour and mostly deferred, saying,"Racism still exists but you know, I try to take something negative and turn it into something positive".

After Mayweather began moving around the stage and shadow boxing, McGregor, the UFC's poster boy, said: "Dance for me, boy".

And at last night's press conference in Toronto, Canada, Mayweather claimed he could easily take on McGregor in the Octagon.
