On the backward compatibility front, Phil Spencer previously announced that the console will support pervious games as far back as the original Xbox.

The Xbox One X, now set to be the most powerful console available once released, is launching in November of this year at a whopping $499. Nevertheless, with there only being a few more months left before the console hits store shelves, it's quite likely that pre-orders could open as soon as August. Three years later, it now appears the game is getting a revival, via a re-release for Xbox One.

Once the Xbox One X are available for pre-order or starts to sell, you will get a notification on your smartphone.

At the time of writing, the Xbox store isn't displaying any pricing, but be sure to check our product page here for more details as and when we pick them up.

There are a number of different retailers participating in this promotion, including Target, Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, and Walmart. Microsoft claims that the Xbox One X has 40% more power than any other console. It is smaller than the Xbox One S, which was about 40% smaller than the original Xbox One. This means that you can buy an Xbox One S now and receive a free copy of Red Dead Redemption when it is released!

You need to have a 4K display to enjoy the Xbox One X's 4K gaming capabilities.

Xbox One S is the only console that offers 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, 4K video streaming and High Dynamic Range. There will be very likely a shortage of the Xbox One X at launch. The Sims 4 has been on PC since September 2014, and an Xbox version has been a subject of rumors for years.
