Indian forces kill two youth in occupied Kashmir

The encounter started after police and army launched a cordon and search operation in Tahab area of Pulwama around 5 am, police control room Pulwama said. In Samboora, reports said, forces resorted to aerial firing to disperse the protesters. The Security Personnel fired some rounds in the air and lobbed Tear Gas shells to stop the protest and protect the Laws and orders of the area.

He said a gunfight broke out between the two sides early Sunday, in which two ultras were killed.

One SLR and one INSAS rifle have been recovered, according to ANI.

They been identified as Abid Manzoor Magray of Nowpora and Irfan Sheikh of Nihar, Tahab.

The demonstrators tried to move towards the area where security forces were conducting search operation. "The operation is still in progress", he said.

Meanwhile, internet service has been suspended in Pulwama to prevent spread of rumours on social media. It was not immediately cleared that encounter was in a house or in open.
