Temperatures Sunday will be a couple of degrees cooler than Saturday, with highs mostly in the low 70s.

There is a special weather advisory for Ottawa County in effect until 10:30 p.m. Wind gusts of up to 55 miles per hour were being reported in some areas.

We're tracking one disturbance after another across the Southeast and this is resulting in more rain and occasional thunderstorms. Expect partly sunny to mostly cloudy skies Saturday as the system slowly crosses through the region.

Temperatures will mainly be in the mid-70s across the eastern half of the state Friday, though Sterling and Fort Morgan will see low 80s. South wind 7 to 9 miles per hour. There will be a 40 percent chance of showers before midnight.

Tonight mostly clear skies for much of the night however after 3am we may start to get an increase in cloud cover. Low: 73. High: 96.

These showers will be quite heavy, but a lot of them will die away by evening time, with a chance of rain later tonight. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.

After several dry, mostly pleasant days in Lancaster County, scattered showers and even strong storms are likely today. We will have partly cloudy skies, which mean warmer temperatures in the afternoon. The exception is Friday, when there is a 50-percent chance of rain during the day and a 30-percent chance at night. Partly sunny, with a high near 79. Winds will be south 3 to 5 miles per hour.

Late in the afternoon, a slightly better chance for a shower can be expected as some of that rain to our west tries to push in.

Monday: Partly sunny - high near 84. The next timing of showers is a bit unclear, as it's far in the future so many models are in disagreement.
