Three people were shot and one killed at an event at a drag race track in southwestern Wisconsin on Sunday night. Three men were shot by another man; two died at the scene and the third died while en route to a hospital.

During a Monday afternoon news conference, Kenosha County Sheriff David Beth identified the victims as David L. Watson, 30, Khalid R. Howard, 30, and Derek K. Edwards, 26, all from IL.

"We're investigating how active the scene is, whether the suspect or suspects are still on scene or if they cleared the scene prior to law enforcement arriving", said Malecki. "I don't know", the sheriff said.

The three victims were identified as David L. Watson, 30, of Oswego; Khalid R. Howard, 30, of Aurora; and Derek K. Edwards, 26, of North Aurora.

Union Grove is about 25 miles south of Milwaukee.

Police say the suspect is in his 20s and was driving a black auto, WDJT Channel 58 reports. "We're not aware of any altercations that might have happened earlier", Beth said.

Friends of the victims told police they had no idea what caused the man to shoot, nor did they recognize who he was. "All of a sudden, during the same time, somebody walked up to them and just started shooting", Coleman said.

Kenosha County's Sheriff Sgt. Mark Malecki, in a press release, said the situation was "fluid". "We don't know if he's still here", Beth said according to reports.
