Colbert asked Scaramucci to explain Trump's failure to specifically condemn the white supremacists behind the weekend violence in Charlottesville. But that's a charge sometimes leveled at the gruff and rumpled adviser, who once boasted he had turned the Breitbart News site into a platform for the so-called alt-right coalition of right-wing groups. "[Trump] said the "many sides" thing. he should have been harsher. he should have condemned white supremacy and neo-Nazis".

"In addition to that ― even though I'm a Roman Catholic and I believe in a right to life I would never impose those values on other people", he continued. I would not be surprised if the outcome of Trump firing Bannon and trying to pivot away from the most despicable of his policies would be for Steve to return to Breitbart and go scorched Earth on the president, and Trump knows it. "What people do is they go behind each other's backs and they leak things to the press and they say nasty things about each other to try to destabilize them or to influence the President's judgment of them".

"Well, we'll see", Trump told reporters asking about Bannon's fate during a question and answer session at the gilded Manhattan tower that bears the president's name.

White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon's position in the West Wing is more precarious than it's ever been, with few allies remaining and a growing roster of attackers. "There must be no sugarcoating the reality that a white nationalist has been named chief strategist for the Trump administration".

"If President Trump truly wants to start healing the country post-Charlottesville, he should fire the white supremacists working for him in the White House". "That's him wearing his heart on his sleeve, it's a fish bowl, it's a hard job", Scaramucci continued, jokingly adding: "Being the communications director is a tough job". Fights broke out, and then a man drove into the opponents of the white supremacists.

Scaramucci also joked about his brief time in the White House. "You guys have been super rough on me and super rough on him, but he is a compassionate person. It's something that should be completely and totally intolerated".

LMAO. Mooch revealed, "When you take a job like that you know your expiration date is coming". I didn't think I'd last too long.

About his fast departure from the White House, Scaramucci said "I thought I'd last longer than a carton of milk".
