Priced at Rs 9,999, the smartphone will be initially available via Amazon India before rolling out to the offline stores. Although the press invite doesn't mention the name of the smartphone, by the tagline which notes - let's put a number to infinity confirms the coming of the Micromax Canvas Infinity.

The Micromax Canvas Ifinity that was launched today comes in 5.7 inch screen size with 18:9 wide display that gives you an impression as if the entire screen is for display - from top to bottom and from left to right.

The display is similar to Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ and LG G6 that has an aspect ratio of 18:9 for enhanced picture quality.

The device itself is powered by a Snapdragon 425 processor and includes 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. It is a Dual SIM phone and there is support for 4G with VoLTE, while the device also has a dedicated MicroSD card slot for the storage expansion.

There is a 13-megapixel rear shooter with LED flash and a 16-megapixel front shooter that comes with "real-time bokeh". For connectivity, this phone offers options of 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, Global Positioning System and USB OTG. The front camera is 16-megapixel equipped for taking video calls and selfies. The smartphone houses 2,900 mAh battery, which the company claims to offer standby time of 420 hours, talk time of 20 hours, music playback of up to 22 hours and video playback of up to 6 hours. "With Micromax Canvas Infinity, we are focusing on bringing the best in class display experience with an all-rounder device that packs in the best of everything". The latest offering from Micromax is Canvas Infinity. According to Rahul Sharma, the device comes with promising 24 hours service or complete replacement. There's also a fingerprint sensor offered on the back of the device for the security.

Design wise, the Miromax Canvas Infinity sports a metal body with metal frame all around, meaning that the smartphone comes with a relatively premium build quality. They've also touted this as a gaming device, but with a Snapdragon 425, it may not go far in that department.
