That will be followed by luncheon hosted by the Russian host and an extended summit with about a dozen top government officials from each side with the whole event to last about three hours before a joint news conference by Presidents Moon and Putin later in the day.

"I$3 t was done in such a clearly boorish manner. This does not do reflect well on our American partners", he said.

"It is hard to deal with people who confuse Austria and Australia, but there is nothing you can do about this", he said. Nothing can be done about it. "Apparently, this is the level of political culture within a certain part of the US establishment".

"Novak; 40,000 a quarter is zero", said Putin.

Putin called the seizure of the compounds "an obvious violation of property rights".

US President Donald Trump has approved in principle the sale of "many billions of dollars' worth of military weapons and equipment" for South Korea, the White House said Monday. Putin also spoke favourably of Trump.

While it's not clear how - and if - the North Korea issue will be resolved, the United States has flatly rejected a Chinese proposal, backed by Russian Federation, for a suspension of hostilities on both sides. Russian Federation has denied interfering in the vote.

"We are both statesmen". We are engaged in the activities of the state and every country has its own interests.

The security council should impose "the strongest possible sanctions" after Pyongyang tested what is believed to be a hydrogen bomb, she said.

President Trump warned that the USA could stop trade with any country that does business with the rogue regime.

Russia's United Nations ambassador says that despite good intentions, sanctions against North Korea aren't working and Moscow wants a new United Nations resolution to focus more on a political solution of the crisis over North Korea's nuclear and missile programs. Some 1,300 U.S. diplomats worked in Russia, and 455 Russian diplomats were in the US.

That number, however, includes 155 people who work for Russia's diplomatic mission to the United Nations in New York, Putin said, meaning his country could further cut the number of U.S. diplomats to 300: "It's 455 minus 155".

Last week the Trump administration announced it was shuttering the Russian Consulate in San Francisco as well as annexes in Washington and NY in response to mandated staff cuts at the USA mission in Russia.

Separately, Putin indicated he may force the United States to once again reduce the number of personnel working at its facilities in Russian Federation, after forcing out hundreds of staffers earlier this month.

"So, we reserve the right to take a new decision on the number of American diplomats in Moscow". But we won't do that for now. Connyoung, do we know what's been discussed so far at the summit table?

But the Russian leader said he still hopes they can improve their relationship.
