The US President Donald Trump has a knack for making it to news and this time he was seen awkwardly reaching for a water bottle during a televised speech Wednesday.

Rubio was giving the GOP response to former President Barack Obama's State of the Union address and paused in the middle to reach for a water bottle and sneak a sip.

In 2013, after Rubio's moment, Trump tweeted that Rubio was "being crucified by the media for drinking water during speech!"

At an event in Texas, Trump mimed Rubio's attempts to drink water mid-speech, while spilling some contents of a water bottle onstage. "You know, after watching that, I need a drink", Colbert said. Marco Rubio, which Trump had previously mocked. Help!' This is on live television. Trump splashed the water around before tossing the bottle behind him on stage.

Next time Marco Rubio should drink his water from a glass as opposed to a bottle-would have much less negative impact. The senator joked after the president's speech that Trump needs to work on his form.

"America's renewed confidence and standing in the world has never been stronger than it is right now", Trump said.

Seeing Trump in the awkward position, Rubio did not miss a chance to take a jibe on the US President.

Speaking about his five-nation tour of Asia, Trump looked for a bottle of water, but unsuccessful in his search, proclaimed: "They don't have water, that's OK". "But not bad for his 1st time", Rubio wrote on Twitter on Wednesday.
