Penn State to play Washington in Fiesta Bowl

Washington and Penn State will meet in the postseason for the second time.

Penn State and Washington both finished the regular season with a 10-2 record. Barkley has scored 21 total touchdowns in his (16 rushing, three receiving, two kick return), and he will need to find the end zone a few more times if Penn State is going to be successful against the tough Husky defense. The Nittany Lions went 7-2 in the Big Ten, while the Huskies went 7-2 in Pac-12 play.

Washington and Penn State will be meeting for just the third time, and the first since the Lions beat the Huskies 13-10 in the 1983 Aloha Bowl.

Continuing momentum into the next bout, redshirt sophomore Luke Karam completed the upset against Penn State's Jered Cortez, extending Lehigh's early lead to 15-0.

The Huskies are a balanced team led by one of the country's top coaches in Chris Petersen.

Penn State: The Nittany Lions were a College Football Playoff contender until losing to Ohio State and Michigan State in consecutive weeks midseason.

Penn State is a ideal 6-0 in the Fiesta Bowl.

Penn State and Washington will play in this years Fiesta Bowl.
