A 5-year-old MS boy was anxious the Grinch was going to steal Christmas after he watched one too many videos.

Assuring the boy that the Grinch would not steal his Christmas, Develle listened as Tylon shared that he had seen the video on Facebook and that he watched plenty of videos about the Grinch.

The police then came to Tylon's house to hear his concerns and, thanks to his tip, they caught the Grinch.

A young boy attempted to do his civic duty for his community when he placed a 911 call to stop the Grinch from stealing Christmas this holiday season. Taking the boy's hand in a handshake, he said: "You have saved Christmas for the people of Byram".

Once the Grinch served his time, Tylon got to tour the jail and was sure to offer his services to the department, should they need him to save the holidays again.

TyLon in return asked the Grinch: "Why are you stealing Christmas?" and after a moment of thought, the Grinch just shrugged his shoulders, USA Today reported.

TyLon's older brother, TeDera Graves, posted a few pictures and videos of his brother's encounter on Facebook.

"I kind of find it really amusing". The Grinch was even put in jail.

After deciding the Grinch had enough time to think about his actions, Tylon released him from the holding cell.

TyLon nodded solemnly saying: "He steals everybody's Christmas". TyLon was also named an honorary junior officer for the day. Your bravery is unmatched.

The dispatcher assured the boy that his Christmas was safe and hung up - but that wasn't the end of the story, according to the Clarion-Ledger.

Thompson said he told TyLon that when he is 21, he can fill out an application to be a real officer.
