Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have released their official engagement photographs.

England's Prince Harry and his fiancee, American "Suits" star Meghan Markle, have released their official engagement portraits. The former Suits actress, wearing a un-royal-like revealing black gown, shows off her engagement ring to the camera as she holds hands with the royal sporting a blue suit.

British-born Lubomirski, who has a high profile in the fashion industry, has photographed scores of celebrities including Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez and Scarlett Johansson.

The final photo is more formal, with Meghan sat down holding on to Harry's hand, as he sits on a step above her.

The official portraits were taken earlier this week at Frogmore House, Windsor by famed photographer and Polish Prince Alexi Lubomirski. The dramatic dress featured a sheer top adorned with an embellished appliqué and a full bombastic black ruffle skirt.

Meghan's face-stroking is so intimate it nearly makes you want to blush and look away and could any other royal bride-to-be have ever been caught sitting in between her prince's legs prior to the marriage? "I can not help but smile when I look at the photos that we took of them, such was their happiness together".

"Harry is emphasising his protective side here with the downward gaze and tight cuddling and his crinkle-eyed smile is all about love and intense attraction". "The couple are so grateful for the warm and generous messages they have received during such a happy time in their lives", Kensington Palace wrote on Instagram.

And as a thank you for all the well wishes, the couple even shared a candid photograph from the same day.

For many, Ms Markle's appearance at Buckingham Palace signifies the Queen's approval of her grandson's engagement, and her acceptance into the Royal family and the monarchy. We mean, they already have a venue and a date picked out (St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in May 2018).
