On top of that, this should be great news for Xbox users, since Microsoft has already revealed the free games that will be playable for those who have subscribed to the Games with Gold for the Xbox Live members. Throughout January, Xbox Live subscribers will behave the opportunity to download The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing, Zombi, Army of Two and Tomb Raider: Underworld.

Zombi, which will have players fighting for their survival on the streets of London during the zombie apocalypse, will be free for Xbox One from January 16th through February 15th, 2018. Developed by Neocore Games, "The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing III" is also the game that wraps up the Dracula-inspired trilogy and was released back in May of 2015. As always, once you download a Games With Gold title, you'll have permanent access to it, so long as you still have an active Xbox Live Gold membership. This is the first time the action-role-playing game has been released on Xbox One, and it comes with Xbox One X support. A massive racing fan, Forza 4 was the daddy of all Xbox titles but Forza Horizon 3 now trumps that.

Hopefully next month's batch of games will bring us something to make up for this month's mediocrity.

Tomb Raider: Underworld is our third installment to the roster, which is available on January 1st for both Xbox One and Xbox 360 through backwards compatibility.

Last but certainly not least is Army of Two, one of the new franchises that Electronic Arts helped fund during the period where they weren't quite so hated. What game are you most excited for? So if you have an adequate enough PC you might want to consider grabbing the game from there.
