According to CEO Min-Liang Tan, the company "engineered the Razer Phone to handle HDR video and sound like no other phone on the market". The all-black phone with the company's three-headed snake logo matches Razer's laptops and PCs. Pressing a button on Project Linda's keyboard prompts a USB-C connector to pop out of the touchpad-shaped cutout in the laptop's base, which connects the phone to the system.

Designed for mobility, the unibody CNC aluminum chassis of Razer Project Linda is just 0.59-inch (15 mm) thin and weighs under three pounds (1.25 kg) including the docked phone. It also has a stellar display, USB Type-C connectivity, and dual front-facing speakers. Razer announced Project Linda as part of CES 2018, formerly called the Consumer Electronics Show.

The idea of smartphone-powered laptop is nothing new as there were so many such implementations over the years. So far nothing has been particularly great, but Razer's Project Linda is pretty exciting nonetheless. "The Razer Phone 5.7-inch display can be used as a touchpad, or as a second screen for access to apps, tools, and more".

This notebook has a 13.3-inch Quad HD touchscreen which works with the same 120Hz abilities as the Razer Phone. under the hood is 200GB of storage as well as a 53.6 Wh battery. The Razer Phone docks easily into Project Linda and connects with a simple key press, seamlessly integrating the devices.

The Razer Phone is a speedy little device for productivity use cases, but having the option to plug it into a hybrid with a big battery and a full keyboard and mouse support could make it something that replaces that Chromebook in your backpack.

The triple-headed snake trademark of Razer is one of the most recognized logos in the global gaming and esports communities.

We always ask about pricing when we see new products, and Razer's answers are nearly invariably unsatisfying-either "we don't know yet" or a number that's eyebrow-raisingly high.

Existing Razer Phone users will also benefit from the Netflix and Razer partnership with an over-the-air update later this month.
