Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown has lined up her next huge role - producing and starring in a new film series based around Sherlock Holmes' young sister.

Reports suggest that the actress made a deal with Legendary Entertainment to be a major part of the feature film adaptations of Nancy Springer's novel series.

The young adult book series, which began with 2006's The Case of the Missing Marquess and spans six novels, revolves around Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes' teenage younger sister, Enola.

The last YA thing I read was the Fear Street series by RL Stine, where teenagers murdered each other in preposterous scenarios, so I'm not super familiar with the Enola Holmes franchise.

Brown will make her big-screen debut next year in the blockbuster sequel, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, alongside Kyle Chandler and Vera Farmiga. On top of that, the girl has her own production company, PCMA Productions, which is onboard to co-produce the untitled Enola Holmes flick. As Deadline notes, the first and fifth entries in the series each received Edgar Award nominations.

Millie Bobby Brown really is going places with her career, and is now setting her sights on a film career in the wake of Stranger Things.
