Jessica Falkholt's life support switched off

Her parents and younger sister - whom Falkholt was in the auto with - each died as a result of the accident, as did the other car's driver, Craig Whitall.

Falkholt had undergone several surgeries since the crash, according to the UK Telegraph.

The ABC understands Jessica Falkholt's life support was turned off on Thursday night.

New South Wales Police confirmed the life support machine was switched off overnight. Annabelle died as a result of her injuries three days after the smash.

The 29-year-old and her family were fatalities of a horror vehicle crash on the New South Wales south coast on St Stephen's Day. "Jessica is a most attractive person".

On Wednesday, hundreds of mourners gathered at St Mary's Church in Concord, Sydney, to farewell the Falkholt family.

Jessica Falkholt has tragically had her life support turned off just one day after the funeral of her parents, Lars and Vivian, and her younger sister, Annabelle.

He also thanked the "saviours" who risked their lives to pull Annabelle and Jessica from the inferno.

Actress Jessica Falkholt who was known primarily for her role in the Australian television series, Home and Away breathed her last today.

Vivian's brother Paul Ponticello told the service (via Australia's Daily Telegraph) that he "always thought we would grow old together".

"The irony of this tragedy is that Lars was such a careful driver".

Whitall was reportedly travelling home from a Nowra methadone clinic when the crash happened.

'Whenever asking how long it would take to drive somewhere I would suggest an average for a normal driver and then add some additional time for the Lars factor. We'd always have a laugh.

It was the third serious crash between Berry and Ulladulla in recent weeks, including the one in which the Falkholt family were killed. She then filmed a role in the United States film Harmony, which is set for release this year.

"We take a little comfort in knowing they will be together".
